We’ve been helping people buy and sell real estate for generations.

Have we ever talked about how much we love real estate? You know what they say: “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Real estate is in our blood—literally.

John’s grandmother had a really nice neighbor that would check in on her from time to time, and he recently reached out after following the success of our team. He shared a picture he found when he was cleaning out his basement. To John’s surprise, it was a photo of his grandfather, Al Schuster, who sold real estate for Calhoun Realty in the 1960s and 1970s.

He was one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and the real estate gene was passed down. John’s dad, Tedd, was in commercial real estate when he was growing up and worked on many different projects like Calhoun Square and brokerages like Northmark.

“Real estate is in our blood… literally.”

Tedd encouraged John to give real estate a try too after he graduated from UM in 2003. Luckily for us, he did!

The real estate career continues on John’s mother’s side. His uncle Jay was an agent with Century 21 and became an appraiser. His great-grandpa Burt’s brother, Earl, also built the Art Deco Hunts Blakely building in L.A. in the 1930s.

John is so grateful for the love and support from his clients over the years. If you have any questions for him or anyone else on our team, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
